Clueless

30 October 2011

If you ask me, I'd say it is pretty obvious that this outfit was inspired by the amazing
Cher Horowitz. This skirt instantly reminded me of her, and as a kid that grew up
in the 90's, she was (and still is) all that. I paired it with this sweater that I thrifted a
few weeks ago that I have been super excited to wear. Finally the weather is permitting
my recent thrift store finds to see the light of day! I have also been getting into jewelry
lately and absolutely love these rings from Milor. The silver and black one are both
from this amazing italian jewelry shop, and I must say I feel very fancy when I put them
on.

Hope you all had a wonderful Halloween weekend! Mine was fantastic. I was Minnie
Mouse one night and the Hamburglar the other. Check out some pictures here!

Stolen from Grandma GIVEAWAY!!

27 October 2011

I am super excited today because first of all, I am wearing my absolute
favorite cozy cardigan, and secondly (and more importantly), I am
wearing a dress from the lovely Claire's shop Stolen From Grandma! It just
felt natural to pair something from her shop with my favorite grandpa
cardigan. Anyways, I love this girls style so much, so of course I instantly
fell in love with her adorable vintage shop. On this particular dress I was
drawn to the bow detail. You know how I am about quirky little details...

Anyways, here is the fun part! I am hosting a giveaway for Stolen From Grandma

Pale Pink Patent Leather

25 October 2011

I think it's clear that the star of this post is my new pale patent pink leather bag from LODIS.
Aside from the fun alliteration this bag ensues, I am just obsessed with the color and surprisingly
that fact that it is patent. This season I have been intrigued by all things shiny and eye-catching.
Almost like a cat or something, haha! Okay I am rambling... anyways I have also been excited
about this asymmetrical skirt from shop AKIRA, that I transformed into a hi-lo skirt instead.
Love it when a clothing item has versatility. And lastly, I am very much in love with this
detachable collar. It is the perfect quirky touch to any outfit.

Well I hope You all are having a lovely day!

PS- I have joined FACEBOOK! It's about time right? Be sure to add me...If you'd like,
of course :)

Cold Shoulder

22 October 2011

Brrr, did it get cold the past few days! A lover of this time of year, I am not complaining
one bit at all. I only packed mainly sweaters with me on my trip but I was wishing I had
brought some coats as well. Luckily I purchased this vintage moto jacket, and it definitely
did the trick! I have been in search for a real leather jacket for such a long time, so I was
super happy when I found this one. And since it is vintage, it is all worn-in and ready to go.
Such a classic piece that I know I will wear all the time this winter. It is a nice little break
from my beloved cardigan collection (which I will still be wearing all the time too). I paired it with this
dotted UNIF top that I am obsessed with. The cut-out shoulder detail is just so fun.

Hope you all are having a lovely weekend! The past two weeks have
been so busy during my trip, so I plan to take it easy .

It's Frocktober!

19 October 2011

When ModCloth asked me to be a part of their new Frocktober dress, I was absolutely thrilled
and did not think twice about being involved. Not only is this dress adorable, and surprisingly
keeps you super warm for the Fall, but it came to be in order to spread awareness about ovarian
cancer. Currently, there is no appropriate early detection test, so Frocktober (an Autralian foundation)
is all about getting involved with the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund to promote further studies
in testing for it.

With that being said, ModCloth is joining forces with Frocktober, and for every dress purchased,
20% goes to the OCRF. What an amazing cause, and you even get a dress out of it to! Be sure to
head on over to ModCloth and check out the dress here.

Hope you all are having a lovely day, and Happy Frocktober!

Gold Pants

18 October 2011

I've definitely been inspired my menswear lately, so when I saw these gold pants I
knew I had to have them. Anyone who reads this blog for just a few posts will quickly
realize that I am more of a skirts/shorts/dress kind of gal, but these pants are just so
feminine. Naturally, I fell in love. Plus it is always fun to change things up from time
to time and experiment with new looks.

Anyways, I am off to a day of thrifting with my gals. Going to hit up our
favorite spots, and I cannot wait! Hope you all are having a lovely day.

16 October 2011

These photos were taken at one of my favorite spots in this city. The windy roads that lead
to it are absolutely beautiful and once you arrive, there is an amazing view overlooking the
town. It is especially nice at sunset, and it's definitely something I've missed! Anyways, this
weekend has been super relaxing and spent with wonderful friends! Going to take this
Sunday nice and slow... lazy Sundays are the best!

Hope you all had a lovely weekend!
